In a nutshell you’re copying and pasting selected sample along the curve drawn with your cursor.

“Moths” series by Hutkasamachnaā. My favourite use case.
Artist Andrei Busel (Hutkasmachnaā) used my tool to create different artworks one of which was “Moths” series. Fine riso prints and stickers of glitched moths. The stickers are planted near lights on the street. On the photo above Andrei is captured in the moment of creation.
Beautiful idea and it’s even more pleasant for me to provide only a tool.
